Who Is DragonPunch RC and What Are We All About?
DragonPunch RC is a family-run brand located just outside Detroit, MI, dedicated to keeping the golden era of RC alive. We design, recreate, and evolve vintage Team Associated, Losi, Kyosho and Yokomo parts from the 80s and 90s, not just as replicas, but as respectful modernizations that stay true to the look, feel, and spirit of vintage RC.
Our mission is simple:

Keep vintage cars on the track. These classics weren’t meant to live on shelves — they were meant to run.

Improve where it matters. We refine original designs using real feedback from racers, collectors, and subject-matter experts while preserving their iconic character.

Create OEM+ parts. Our favorite term for what we do: parts that honor the originals but feel like what the manufacturers would have made if they had today’s tech

Make them look right. Period-correct materials and styling are core to our identity — if it doesn’t look the part, it doesn’t leave our shop.

Build in the USA. We machine as many parts in-house as possible, and for anything we can’t make ourselves, we partner only with manufacturers who share our values and obsession with quality.

Support the community. We’re committed to helping vintage RC racing thrive and collaborating with brands that share our vision for the future of “Modern Vintage.”

OUR WHY
More than just parts.
DPRC x Movember — Our Why
DragonPunch RC was built around passion for vintage racing, craftsmanship, and doing things the right way. Behind everything we do, there’s something deeper that drives us.
My inspiration? My dad. We lost him in 2018 to prostate cancer. Like so many families, we didn’t just lose a father, we lost a steady presence and someone who shaped who we are. His strength, work ethic, and the way he showed up for others are things I carry with me every day.
His passing was quick. He went from undiagnosed to gone in just 10 months. That experience is a big part of why I started DragonPunch RC — and why it stands for more than just RC parts.
We support the Movember Foundation, focused on men’s health.
At DPRC, giving back isn’t an afterthought, it’s part of our foundation. A portion of all proceeds go directly to supporting men’s health initiatives through Movember, a mission that hits close to home. This is personal.
It’s about raising awareness and doing our part to make sure more men take their health seriously.
