Now available from DPRC, our premium RC10B3 Big Bore Carbon Fiber Tower Set, offered in both Satin Plain Weave and our new Satin Forged Carbon.
Designed specifically for the vintage RC racer upgrading the B3 platform to modern 12/13mm big bore shocks, these towers provide increased strength, improved shock positioning, and purpose-designed geometry to address the clearance challenges commonly encountered with larger diameter shock packages.
Our Big Bore geometry is designed around 23mm and 27.5mm shock spacing, providing additional flexibility when setting up modern shocks on the B3 platform.
Satin Plain Weave
Our traditional Satin Plain Weave option is precision machined from premium carbon fiber, with a 3mm front tower and 4mm rear tower.
A carbon fiber rear spacer is included to provide the proper rear shock angle.
Satin Forged Carbon
New for 2026, DPRC Satin Forged Carbon brings an entirely different material and appearance to our proven B3 Big Bore geometry.
Rather than selecting forged carbon based on appearance alone, DPRC chose a premium, purpose-selected laminate built around branded carbon fiber reinforcement and a structural carbon core.
The random forged pattern creates a unique appearance on every component, while embedded color accents give each set its own distinctive finish.

Because of the random nature of the forged material, no two pieces are exactly alike.
Purpose-Designed 2mm Big Bore Bracing
Optional front and rear 2mm carbon fiber braces are available and serve a dual purpose.
In addition to reinforcing the upper shock mounting area, the braces provide an integrated 2mm outward offset at the upper shock mounts, helping create the additional clearance needed for modern 12/13mm big bore shock bodies and springs. This is more than simply added reinforcement. The spacing is built into the design as part of the overall big bore conversion geometry.
